Normal class grading started on Thursday and will finish on Wednesday 30th May. Make sure you wear your correct gi and bring your sparring kit.
We are setting up a Kids kickboxing class at William Gregg Heanor. 6pm to 7pm on Tuesdays, this is from the age of 8. It's starting with a 4-week introductory course for £20.
Starting Tuesday 6th May to Tuesday 29th May.
We only 10 spaces are available. Message for more details or to book in for the course.
Black belt gradings
The black belt gradings are on Saturday 3rd May at Heanor leisure centre ( William Gregg) De75 7ha at 2pm-5pm
Sunday 4th May at Shipley park ( de75 7gx) at 7am
Make sure you are doing some extra practice and have all the right equipment. If you need anything, please get in touch.
If you are going for a 1st/ 2nd or 3rd degree black belt, please hand in your essay as soon as possible
Burnett Academy presentation evening
The next presentation evening is Saturday 10th May at Trowell parish hall 5pm-6pm ( Ng9 3qa), it's to celebrate the achievement of black belt and watch a few demonstrations from students.
We are looking for students or parents to do a performance or showcase a hidden talent, this could be singing, dancing, martial arts etc, if you fancy doing one, message one of the instructors
Parent week
The next parent week is from Monday 12th May to Sunday 18th. All parents are welcome to train with their kids or come to the adult class to have a go at martial arts.
Create your t-shirt is back
From Monday 1st to Sunday 8th June, you can go website and choose the colour of your t-shirt and your print. So it could be a pink t-shirt with yellow print
The limited-time-only silver Burnett Academy pins will finish at the end of the month, if you would like one, please order this month
We have created some stickers for students or parents who can show us the YouTube drill of the week.
Go check out our channel, learn the drill and show us at class to earn yourself a sticker. You are never to old for a sticker...
